What to expect
- Operate and set up CNC turning, milling and/or grinding machines
- Manufacture precision workpieces to drawings and specifications
- Program CNC machines and optimise manufacturing processes
- Carry out measurement and inspection independently
- Work with a swivel spindle, controlled steady rest and sub-spindle
What you bring
- Completed vocational training in machining or an equivalent qualification
- Experience with CNC turning, milling and/or grinding machines
- Knowledge of CNC programming, measurement and inspection
- Care, a sense of responsibility and enjoyment of teamwork
What you will learn
- Manufacture precision components on modern CNC turning, milling and grinding machines
- Understand, develop and use CNC programs safely
- Read drawings and measure workpieces professionally
- Gradually take responsibility in real projects
